Thank you for your interests in Movie Wave. You are about to experience the true power of PowerPC Macintosh and its 3D capability. What Movie Wave does is to create waves and texture map a movie on it. Movie Wave is still in pre-beta but will be beta version pretty soon. The reason I uploaded it is to hear some ideas and opinions from you people.
The original thinking for Movie Wave program was to have it as a screen saver. Thus, there will definitely be an After Dark module version or some kind of screen saver. This release of Movie Wave has included many new features. Such as to allow the user to change some parameters of the wave.
Several functionalities have been added. Users now have two choices of waves, one is Travelling Wave, and the other one is Ripple Wave. I plan to add more waves in later versions.
Please note that these Movie Wave requires a PowerPC Macintosh with QuickDraw 3D 1.0 installed. Fail to do so may make the programs malfuntional. You can find QuickDraw 3D on America OnLine or at Apple's WWW Page at http://www.info.apple.com/qd3d/QD3D.HTML.
You can only distribute these two programs freely without making any modifications to them and accopanied with this Read Me file.
Registeration fees for these Movie Wave is $10.
The final shareware version will include both application and screen saver module formats.
Please note that you don't have to give out your bucks to use them. You are always welcome to use them. Just tell me what ideas you have and whether you like them or not. Both of them are to be finished soon. If you like, pre-order is a strong encouragement to me. You can reach me through the following ways:
